Common Rail Injector Testing

There may be a number of reasons to test your injectors with symptoms such as poor fuel mileage, hard starts, and over fueling. We recommend testing your fuel injectors when a service engine is replaced (short or long block) to confirm proper operation. Most engine manufactures will void out an engine warranty claim if the fuel injectors were not confirmed to be operating correctly. As a critical engine component, it's crucial to ensure correct operating for the best longevity and reliability of your engine. Most fuel injectors have a life span of 80,000 - 100,000 miles depending of fuel quality and maintenance intervals.

If your unsure if your fuel injectors are operating correctly or even recently purchased a set of "good used" injectors, we can test them to confirm they will operate correctly. We can test one injector, to multiple sets of injectors. Every test is completed by our Bosch EPS 205 test bench with a full data report

How To Start An Order

➡ Tag your injectors per each cylinder they were removed from.
➡ Package your injectors for shipping. Please be cautious and make sure they are clean and well packaged to avoid fluid leaks or damage in transit. See Sample Pictures Above Of How To Package Your Injectors
➡ Write your order number neatly with permanent marker on the outside of the box, close to the shipping label.
➡ Ship your injectors to KD Customs. We recommend using UPS. It's a good idea to use a shipping method where you can track your package.
➡ A customer service representative will reach out when your injectors have been received.

Testing Procedure
NOTE: Each and every fuel injector is visually inspected for damage or wear to determine if we can move forward with the testing procedure. On the Bosch EPS205 test stand, fuel injectors will be testing electrically and mechanically.

➡ Injector Testing
➡ Back Pressure (If Applicable)
➡ ISA Detection (If Applicable)
➡ Resistance Test (If Applicable)
➡ Leak Test
➡ Return Quantity Test
➡ Injector Flow & Quantity Test

Results
➡ Once the testing has been completed, we will reach out with a PDF copy and/or images of the results. If your injectors pass testing, we can re-seal your injectors for a small fee and ship them back to you.
➡ If your injectors FAIL the testing, and you want to purchase new or reman injectors though us, we will provide you with testing credit that can be applied to your injector order.
